Wedding Dancing
Published 3 months, 1 week ago in Uncategorized.All the wedding talk of late, and no one reminded me about dancing!
This is a problem, as i haven’t partner danced in about 4 years….AND, i pointed out to my boyfriend, he has two left feet. So we’re still discussing sacrificing the dance and staying together at the table…OR….slow dancing, its just rocking really, and risk crushing eachothers feet…..i think we’re going to risk broken feet….=P
When’s the last time you partner danced? Was it a good memory or an embarrassing story? Do share!….

I haven’t danced since I was 10 years old, dancing to “Backstreet’s Back” at the primary school disco, dressed in lilac-colourd short overalls. *Shudder*.
Really, you have nothing to worry about.
I think it’s a good move, slow dancing - 1. if you’ve just got married (is it you guys getting married?) you’re going to want to hold each other close, and 2. it’s easy to look sober when you’re slow dancing. 
How’d you go with the dancing? I never ‘formal dance’ at weddings! We just do whatever we feel like!
The shuffle passes for dancing these days. Justs arms around each other in any direction and swaying of hips constitutes dancing. The art has been mainly lost and for a reason. There is no point in dancing together because you can’t hear anything the other’s says anyhow….My daughter did ballroom dancing as a hobby for five years, was very good, married a man with two left feet and hasn’t danced “properly” in 10 years. Them’s the break….not worth getting a sweat up over. She does miss the dancing but believes the prize was worth its loss.
Hmmm…in seven years my hubby has only ever danced with me once, and he was extremely drunk at the time. He, of course, was convinced he could do the Lambada…need I say more ? Very embarrassing, and I’m definately NOT trying to convince him to dance with me again LOL.
As far as the last time I danced with anyone else… I can’t remember when it was (certainly a while ago), but it was fantastic. I jive, so partner dancing is FUN !!
